There’s another use for Oxytocin not covered in her great article–it’s a safe way to treat excessive urination/poor urine concentration (wasting free-water)/excessive thirst/dehydration all due to diabetes insipidus which occurs in CIRS. Unlike DDAVP which can cause significant low sodium issues, Oxytocin is safer–but a bit more pricey.
