Comment; For years physicians were taught (falsely, due to Purdue’s deception) that opioids were safe for long term use. Now, guys like Lou Ortenzio, a great physician by the report of this article will NEVER practice again. We NEED to have a SANE system in place to rehab physicians and get them back into practice! Physician’s Health Programs can be helpful, but are often corrupt as are State Medical Boards! THEY need the regulation!
